The centre was envisioned due to a dire need for excellence in breast care in the city, the state and the country.The Orchids Breast Health mobile app is the new way to connect with Orchids Breast Health clinic. Orchids Breast Health is the only stand alone breast care centre delivering affordable excellence to the city. We are equipped with the most efficient technology such as Digital Mammography with Tomosynthesis, Automated Breast Ultrasound, Vacuum Assisted and Robotic Stereotactic Breast Biopsy. This robust infrastructure is supported by professionals of the highest professional integrity and standing in breast care in India such as breast reconstructive/oncoplastic surgeons, oncologists, breast radiologists, breast care counselors, nurses and technicians.
Since breast cancer is growing younger, we go out to the community to create awareness and encourage early detection with varied programmes such as the annual marathon, breast cancer symposia, lectures, etc. We also run an active mobile screening project with three buses for mammography and colposcopy in and around Pune.
Orchids Breast Health has pioneered Oncoplastic and Reconstructive surgeries in India and holds an annual International Workshop on Oncoplastic Breast Surgery in Pune.
